The device can be but the iPad just poke when this has no protective cover like mine (in my case a "Wallee)"
otherwise the plug is unfortunately too short to contacts can. I have the whole thing with a
Solved Dock extension cable, because I do not want to lose weight for my use case.
Who can do without a protective sheath, in which the course Trasnsmitter fits perfectly into the iPad.
How is it with an iPhone, I can not report (do not have one)
As expected, the transmit power is ultimately pretty lousy,
but that was only to be expected,
because the German regulations in this respect, unfortunately,
set strict and far too narrow limits, to guarantee a good operation on this unit.
Therefore, it is quite tricky to initially find a reasonably free FM frequency on the receiver radio,
then to be able to adjust it to the transmitter;
Antenna orientation of receiver radios
and positioning of the iPad with transmitters are also critical,
I have to set in the distance between the devices to each other by just 2 meters in my kitchen very closely,
so I, when I am between the two devices, do not want to worry even for reception impairments.
Ultimately, I've got it on the frequency 107.00 MHz.
For the price absolutely ok function because of poor transmission power, however limited.
