OK Camcorder SONY CX 900E, but at what cost!

I bought to put on my camcorder SONY CX 900E when I use it in photo mode. Not much choice, it is the only flash compatible with the CX 900E according to the SONY website (recessed MIS interface requiring special shoe). Despite its low guide number, flash the "done the job": the usual shooting distances, the pictures are good. By cons, no on / off button is painful: the flash will turn off after a certain time or when it folds up again but it alone when no longer on the camera. Another bad thing is the price.
