Detail: the motor is always on, it is therefore not possible to have light without the undulation of the mechanism, which poses a small problem because the movement generates a small squeak, unremarkable at first, but soon we no longer hear it, especially if you want to relax.
Finally, there is only one button to choose the light mode, so we can not make use of either lamp, to turn it off because it must go through all modes. It is also impractical to choose since atmospheres need to stuff the whole cycle of the modes to find the right one.
After that I do not forget that this lamp does not really cost expensive, and that's why I put all the same 3 star for that price, it was still a light that makes marine atmospheres under quite nice, and for ambient noise (marine recording) the speaker may suffice.
