Old classics finally put together really well ...

What I am delighted first ?! Led Zeppelin are back with a new album at the start, but after a brief investigation, unfortunately, came to actually already expected shock. While the venerable rockers are back, offering the fans but again only reheated material and no new material! "Mothership" is nothing more than a compilation of old hits, which, unfortunately, there are too crowd, but this time, and I'll give the zeppelin, they have at least intently!

The double-CD "Mothership" really includes all large and well-known hits of the band and are also simultaneously in chronological form! Songs of each album are included and in the songs selection Page and Co. have really proven a lucky hand! From "Stairway to Heaven", about "Immigrant Song" to the ingenious, later "In the evening" here are included that can really convince on this compilation 24 top songs! Maybe it's a bit of that "Mothership" in revised form comes along and sound the pieces so a little punchier and simply better!

The cover artwork me not necessarily skin off your feet and also the lack of any new pieces from me personally a little in the stomach, because one or two new songs had been already in it to make the waiting fan happy again! But good ?! Must keep good one Led Zeppelin that this presentation also includes a DVD that contains a summary of the "Led Zeppelin" DVD! Even is uninspiring innovative, but nevertheless is a something for his money!

In summary, is "Mothership", a compilation of all gutklassige Hits von Zeppelin, whose target audience must be mainly people who still have any albums by Led Zeppelin at home and thus want to get a good introduction to the history of this band! For hardcore fans has "Mothership" nothing new, but nevertheless I am sure that even this most be accessed again!
