The characters are very successful. The tone was caustic but tender with those old pirates. Their faces and attitudes are very well made. The dialogues are earthy. The boxes are full of small details that are all fun references. The authors show brilliantly that one can choose old as main characters without being boring or pour into political correctness. This is certainly a bit cartoonish but very funny. I hope that Volume 2 will continue this momentum.
