I bought this radio remote trigger "Pixel Oppilas" for focusing & Trigger on self-portraits. The station has just the right size, in order to hide him during the initiation in hand can but without losing its operational safety. The two-stage shutter button seems a little shaky, but could be operated fail in practice. The receiver is connected using the supplied cable DC 2 to the GPS connector on the camera, ready. So exemplary simple Plug & Play. Another positive I noticed that commercially available AAA batteries are used (which are already included) and the battery compartment without tools and is still securely locked. So an exchange is easy and low cost. I have not tested any large distances between transmitter and receiver, but in my experiments was triggered reliably. As far as a useful and for 27,90 and inexpensive product.
BUT: on day 3 was suddenly no longer triggered. While the indicator lights on the transmitter and receiver lit synchronously when releasing, but otherwise nothing happened. I have multiple cables, batteries and camera settings tested, but with no apparent problems or changes to the previous day. The Funkauslöser were always handled properly and had gotten even no fall or the like. Therefore, the defect is a mystery to me.
Conclusion: I would have kept the radio trigger for the reasons mentioned above like, but they went back to Amazon. The rapid defect has unsettled me, so I will refrain from re-buying this model and instead look around for alternatives.
