When I then but for Naber Compair FlowStar GTS 150 decided, I was concerned that it would possibly be a bad buy.
Vorneweg: Naber Compair FlowStar GTS 150 is installed and we are so far satisfied. We use the wall box for about 6 weeks. It is currently summer and I'm curious to see if the wall box in freezing temperatures works just as well.
Function: Our cooker hood will automatically start at Level 2 (of 5) and after a short pressure build-up comes out of the wall box. After switching off the hood there is a dull "plop" and the hood is shut. It is important that the hood is started at the weakest level! Otherwise, plastic parts (yes, unfortunately, no quality parts installed) break.
When the wall box was delivered, was an installation manual for the previous model in the box. Here lacked the name "GTS" (Generation Two S ...). In my view, not feasible. I called the supplier and who has kindly clarified the matter. A closer look / Hinfühlen two springs are installed. One inside (visible) on the ground, the other on the movable head (not visible).
The actual installation of the wall vent went surprisingly quickly. If the bore pipe is better already exists.
I have the wall box before installation thoroughly checked. I wanted to avoid that the supplier a faulty installation blames. Very important: do not compress the pipes / deform during installation. Use silicone, no OCF. Otherwise there is a risk that the tube-shaped egg / is oval.
Criticism: The installation instructions are only consists of images! No Text !!! This is no IKEA Billy Regal. A few precise instructions would be in my opinion much more practical and purposeful. In some pictures we had - no kidding - look several times before we have understood the meaning. I must say that I am technical assistant and am used to such drawings in everyday working life.
Love Naber developers: please supply a German (and English) installation instructions. Or visit the website for self print!
After installation, I had to see with horror that the wall box gets stuck halfway to turn off the hood (horror!). The out-propelled head has an easy time in the lock and cant seem to. Did it somehow hinbekommen that it comes.
Appropos hood: The wall box is powered by a Silverline cooker hood. Works quietly and very good. Great item !!! Here 5 Stars. Strong buy recommendation! (Has nothing to do with the Naber wall :))
Conclusion for wall box: The idea with the out-propelled head is good. Only in the implementation still has to be worked. Naber has operated with the second generation (GTS) before correction, but I think it goes (at the price!) Even better!
Therefore only 3 of 5 stars
