The 1C V2 this is not my first torch of ThruNite far, I know about what I am writing.

Delivered is again with instruction where the specifications mentioned in a nice, stable boxes made a loop, spare sealing rings and spare rubber for the limit which I have never had to replace at any flashlight. Previously, the light level is selected by briefly releasing and tightening the lamp head, which, considered completely reliable and was OK, but always presupposed a second hand, when times had to be briefly switched up or down.
The new mode switch V2 is designed so reliable contact and crisp which makes it a joy ware to change the light level. That it was also significantly worse and imprecise, occupies about the ThruNite T21 v2 with spongy and imprecise mode switch. But ThruNite develops always further and always has the tendency to improvement. Toll long as it stays that way!
There is in this switch concept no standby power consumption and empty batteries after weeks of non-use, because the flashlight is switched off only via the rear power switch and the side mode switch has only the function of the light stage selection.
Without wishing to go into detail on all the data, only briefly that it also are four very practical selected light levels, the differences are always clearly visible.
It starts with the Glühwürmchenmodus at about 0.17 Lumen, 17 Lumen, 71 Lumen and strong, a maximum 418 lumens in conjunction with a 16340 or RCR123 Lithium-Ion battery. The maximum run time is set at 50 minutes. The last selected light level is stored by memory circuit constantly until the next reclosing. The hidden achievable stroboscopic mode does not interest me personally; the better he is therefore hidden.
The voltage range is from 0.9 to 4.2 volts
The use of conventional CR123A lithium battery (3 volt) with only rare use is of course also possible, in which the light intensity will be measured significantly lower, in practice the vision test but is still seen as very bright.
About the illumination pattern I've never needed at ThruNite negative judgments. Here everything is right. Clean with a tendency towards close-range illumination (Flutercharakteristik)
In this sense, are by me once more a strong buy recommendation. For more quality can be achieved in this price range hardly.
