Printing worked initially quite good, although the printer was extremely slow and extremely noisy (but you can afford).
Now I had, however, also learn that Epson has a Nachfüllschutz and you can therefore only use the original cartridges (and according to customer reviews seems to work not even that reliable). I bought compatible cartridges, which meant that they were no longer detected in the middle of printing at a time and the printing was canceled - is very nice if you just printed on expensive photo paper and then half page remains white. Today I have now used beaten 5 hours for about 15 pages and saw probably pretty much experienced every possible problem that you can have with a printer: Cartridge not recognized, stripe print, a color missing from the print, smudged writing, paper jam, cartridge not compatible (after it had been printed with her).
Probably it would have gone better with original cartridges, but they are very fast and empty it then very expensive.
All in all: After Christmas, the scrap is coming off and a Brother Printer.
Oh, a positive note is still:
- Copying works well (when the cartridges are recognized and are compatible throughout the copying)
- The printer has not yet exploded.
