Home came the disillusionment.
The Gingerbread parts are great, I can not complain about large - except perhaps that of gingerbread when packing was obviously still too fresh. Because the plastic slip sheets glued to the gingerbread and cracks when pulling half the surface from gingerbread with, no matter how careful you are going there.
Since we but want to decorate the gingerbread, that's not so bad.
The "decorative parts" that looks quite different. Two windows and a door made of edible paper, 6 Sugar pretzel, 5 Zuckerlebküchlein and all 8 Haribogummis (Roulette) - to the figures. Not more. For a whole house. So I had not imagined it!
Well just that I've looked through the contents in advance once, so there was no disappointment at Basteltag. I then bought Dekorkram it.
Assembling went well. I can not complain that something did not fit. I have nothing to cut the gingerbread. Clear the parts fit not 100% flat against each other, but that does not matter, but I was the icing glue. Thus, open cracks can be covered wonderful.
If the mixture is stirred to cast thick enough then you have hardly what support it with toothpicks and it slips down nothing.
Tip for the frosting:
I have taken 2 egg whites and 400g icing sugar. The exact amount of powdered sugar can not specify one, it all depends on the size of the eggs varies depending on the amount of protein.
One should admit as long icing sugar until the mixture no longer melts, ie is properly fixed. The whole process can be super, even with a freezer bags instead of spout.
Conclusion:
The cottage can be readily assembled. But it is in my opinion not worth the money, or actually almost Kundenveräppelung. It is on the package size touted "Haribo decorative parts" and then there are 8 of these roulette rubber parts in it and that's it. If you know only part of the broad Haribo product range, then one would expect at least a few sweets and a two licorice parts or something. An abstract is not found on the packaging.
For less money you get now already beautiful gingerbread house kits at Ikea, Aldi and Co.
