- Either typical 0815-camera bags look,
- Or if you like (similar to the Retrospective 5) they were usually very expensive that they could only be used as a camera bag
- On top of that you then also to a bag instructed and everything is a bit monotonous.
I wanted to use my present bags and backpacks on and looked for a solution as I could repurpose this quickly and easily. So "only" had an inner life here! Small right camera bags dropped out because they were mostly by the patch outer pockets again too large. The typical inlays (similar of Pellor or Matin) I did not like, because not properly closed and the whole feel of + materials could not convince me.
By chance I came across this Crumpler Banana Bowl M (taschenfreak.de) and of the data here, it lived up to my expectations:
- No outside pockets
- Lockable
- Right size to 95% in geschätzen my bags and backpacks to have space, but also to take my little equipment.
What can I say? Perfect! I stowed it:
-. A Yongnuo 565 including bag
- A Canon EOS 40D with Canon 18-200mm attached + Geli (upside) + UV filter
- A diffuser charger + cable, extra battery, 3x memory card and data cable (a battery could still loose space)
In the cover two small pockets are still incorporated. One of them has integrated two small networks, which can accommodate a memory card incl. Cover each.
The Banana Bowl M fits perfectly and without having to plug in a / an:
- Saturday F14 Dexter
- Saturday F12 Dragnet
- Dakine Heli Pro DLX
- Dakine Duel and then some
I would always buy again, because it really is very flexible in use. Certainly it does not offer the protection of a right camera bag from strong shocks and beatings, but for my needs and for the exclusive use as an inlay is perfect and exactly what I was looking for that if I want to have my camera with me on the road.

Bag also fits well in a Dakine Mission.
I'm very satisfied and would still buy the bag as inlay again. Until now is not broke, cracked or the like.
