After long years photo I'm now back with a Lumix go. I have long been researched and abgewogen- size sensor, weight, image quality ... Well anyway, I decided for MFT, and here for the GX7 Panasonic. Why? I wanted a creative tool at the maximum possible image quality (I hate noise) have always and everywhere. Because of the dimensions and the weight is no way to MFT. The Oly Om-D E-M5 has shown that this peak image quality is possible, but the dimensions of the Om-D are not compliant bag and the control buttons are much too fiddly. A seeker should always be on board. So I tried the GX7, despite initial reluctance. The image quality of the Panasonic models had not yet convinced me. The feel was a revelation, all very valuable, distributed the controls properly at the housing. Even with gloves, the camera can handle excellent. The brilliant viewfinder provides a bright and clear image, the touch function of the display is a very thoughtful addition. As an option you can take pictures silently (electronically shuttered). Since the love little children to come is shaking not interested to crawl into the lens, but play unimpressed (also fits great in animals, police, museums). Shutter speeds up to 1/8000 s and seriously useful light sensitivity up to ISO 6400, yes, it is a tool. After nearly one thousand paintings, I can say that the image quality is excellent. With a few small adjustments one gets the standard slightly blurred image impression away. My personal hate noise factor: After the first few images and 100% view on screen I was initially shocked seriously. That should be really no one hurt. But - does indeed not even to A3 can be everything to ISO print noise-free 3200 without finishing. The color reproduction is true, the focus sits clean and the pictures are sometimes brutally so sharp that my wife several portraits "forbidden" has. I've determined forget half but I'm floating on cloud 7. Panasonic has probably read my favorites, anyway, is that my camera, which I no longer give her. With the 20mm lens of the Pana GX7 even fits in a jacket pocket.
