One of my albums in 2012!

I live Imany heard as the opening act at ZAZ and seen. Even though I could not really focus on myself, because I could not wait for the main concert, the sympathetic and noble appearance and of course the hammer horny voice of this singer I remained in my head, so I bought a few days the "Acoustic Sessions" , And I have not regretted it. Although it is not a cheap pop, I could not remember right back to the tunes of the concert and the more I heard inside me, the great I found the music.
The debut album includes among others those songs in the studio versions. I must admit that I liked better the acoustic versions partially. But the studio versions with a little more instrumentation are simply beautiful. I can say that it really is not a single bad song for me. The frequent comparison with Tracy Chapman, I can only nachvolliehen vocally. Although Imanys voice is deeper, more voluminous and more emotional in my opinion. (Without wishing to devalue the Chapman) Musically I find Imany but soulful and more with world music influences, which makes the whole more interesting to me personally. Therefore my conclusion: If you like intelligent, handmade music with a touch of exoticism, which should be the album listen definitely and buy!
