The choice has fallen on the Platinum, as there are temperature or sound problems with comparable hard drives like Seagate or Western Digital.
I put a lot of emphasis on it further, these are my disks very fast because what bring a 3TB, if you need a week to describe this?
So I have the 3 terabytes - ordered model of Platinum MyDrive HP.
The delivery via Amazon was as always very fast and the hard drive was also packed isolated enough.
First after that I carried out a speed check of the hard drive. The result was very good via USB 3.0:
Seq Read: 186,4MB / s Seq Write: 152,8MB / s
512k Read: 56,71MB / s 512k Write: 97,64MB / s
4k Read: 0.628 4k Write: 1,367MB / s
I'll still upload this result as an image.
The USB 2.0 function is given, but a speed test is not important, because this is always moving toward ~ 30MB / s.
Secondly, (and I think that you should do with every new hard drive) I can go through a HD test. This lot also flawlessly made.
The temperature of the plate is lukewarm in operation and it is quieter than my laptop.
Therefore, this is for me the most appropriate external hard drive at the time.
Something little negative there: The enclosed USB3.0 cable is quite short.
