I was curious to see what disk is installed in the current prices.
hdparm says:
Model Number: ST3000DM001-9YN166
Firmware Revision: CC4B
Transport: Serial, SATA Rev 3.0
Nominal Media rotation rate: 7200
So a Seagate ST3000DM001, SATA3 7200rpm. On cardboard printing and Amazon is 5400rpm. So this can not be right. The disc is however quite low and is not very warm, despite the higher revolutions and complete closed housing with a few tiny holes on the underside. According to the serial number plate is installed an OEM. In the case of a failed disk, the guarantee therefore only runs about Intenso, not Seagate.
Power consumption according to energy costs Monitor:
Idle about 8W
Operating approximately 10W
Case temperature (outside):
about 36-37 ° C
Speeds have not been tested. But are likely to meet the already several times tested values of verbautem Seagate drive.
PS: If someone believes Intenso built partially refurbished plates. My I ordered on Feb. 23rd few days later was delivered. Date of manufacture of the plate was KW6 (6.Feb.) So unlikely in my plate.
