Who still uses hard drives and a faster access to the data wishes can use this program. A huge increase in performance by O & O Defrag I myself can feel only minimal in wild arranged files. The program is in my view one of the best in this area, but the benefit of this software is for home users simply too low and does not justify the price. Furthermore, there are already freeware programs that can do the same, even if not quite as effective and visually appealing so as this.
The makers of O & O Defrag write from version to version, that the speed has been improved up to 100%. These are from my point but considered just wishful thinking. Optimizing disks is highly dependent on the speed of the hard disk and as it were, forms the bottleneck. It is always the slowest link in the chain and sets the pace on. Consequently, even the best optimization software not matter if the hard disk does not go along!
