The story was staged in feature-length with such wonderful speakers such as Hans-Georg Panczak, Helmut Krauss, Dietmar miracle, Jan Makino, Antje von der Ahe and Doris Gallart in the role of Madame Mandilip. Especially women Gallart delivers here a brilliant performance as a witch ur-viles and provides the necessary pinch of creeps. Gallart has already proven in The Wizard of Oz and The Snow Queen their skills, while Hans-Georg Panczak is not yet represented in the Aylmer Vance radio plays of the series of horrors. New in the ensemble, however, is Helmut Krauss, though countless radio plays enriched with his unmistakable voice, but so far not for Titania media stood before the microphone. For him many listeners are already familiar as a neighbor Paschulke from the TV series dandelion. The role of crime boss Julian Ricori is him as tailored to the body, after all synchronized Krauss also Samuel L. Jackson in the cult film Pulp Fiction.
The action stands out from the refreshing from what we have received so far offered in the series, although witches have often played a significant role. The focus, however, is initially a very kriminalistisch inspired action and the protagonists, to which one must also Ricori and his bodyguard McCann count, must first provide real detective work. The worst, however, the atmosphere is from the very beginning, since the death of Ricoris accountant and also the other victims is truly depicted eerily. Thanks to the gloomy soundtracks, are accompanied by even quieter passages by ominous piano sounds, created an intense horror atmosphere. Madame Mandilips dolls is a radio play, which is able to captivate from beginning to end and not only creates a morbid, eerie mood, but also keeps the listener with action and excitement at the bar.
