Unfortunately, this version of Amazon an online connection is an absolute requirement. At current roaming costs abroad (holiday) not usable. Without connection to the Internet, the app itself is closed.
Today the service has, with the words "Please make sure that you are logged in Amazon store," acknowledged.

For a paid product such business practices is simply a joke.

An update of the actual player does not precaution, since it is obvious these are two mutually non kompatibelen versions.
