Only conditionally suitable for outdoor use

We had decided after a long search because of the many good reviews for this box and now I have to pour cold water something the general enthusiasm.
First the good: yes, they came quickly made, easy to build, looks quite good and has so far (three rainy days) passed no water.
But: the quality I find unconvincing, since the bonds between side and top parts of the cover have been solved after two days and one millimeter wide gap has emerged.
The box must be plan, because otherwise they jammed and the lid is not properly sschließt. This was not just our natural stone terrace ...
The "rattan optics" has its pitfalls. On the cover is the uneven surface long rainwater and if one dries the lid is not good, it runs when you open the box. Also in the garden so all sorts of things come from above (in addition to rainwater Vogelschiß, pollen, leaves ...), which tends to clog the lid and quickly forms a difficult to remove crust.
Conclusion: wonderful on a flat, covered terrace, otherwise not the ultimate solution
