only conditionally usable for time lapse

have bought the Drift HD timelapse of my GoPro. I hoped for. that the part also has the power to the GoPro
to turn off the vertical (with stand). Unfortunately, the power is not enough here. it stops after a few seconds.

for horizontal Time Laps it is perfect. I once worked with an egg timer, but always had to stand on a flat surface. with the part I can now screw on my tripod and work / films from other perspectives / photograph.

would the device more powerful than a simple egg timer, I would give 5 stars.
