Only the plastic cap is weakening

With a scalpel several spare blades are (in a small plastic box) here. The weight of the pen is more difficult pleasantly through the aluminum, but not tiring difficult. Blade was of course very sharp, but I can show no comparisons with other scalpels - is my first. The first blade I use also still without broken point, as others reported. The blue rubber holder gives a good grip.

As negative only falls on the plastic cap. It is not very reassuring terms what stability per se. Most of all, the locking mechanism is still deficient: The cap holds by the slide on the curvature of the rubber mount. Well, 'fixed' in quotation marks. Because nothing engages one or other, it is simply pushed only to the rubber. In addition, the clip on the cap is totally pointless, because nobody put the scalpel in his pocket, when it used to have in hand - after all, the pen itself made of aluminum and thus for easy hold "mechanism" of the cap unsuitable.

I care less, I do not have children because the turn came and the scalpel comes with me anyway in a drawer, but the cap is sufficient that I not cut myself while rooting it. I use the scalpel to tinker, so actually I have cardboard cut (in the thickness of these carrier bags for wine bottle packaging, for example) and it worked otherwise perfect.
