The WMF Cookware looks visually very appealing. The pots make a good impression process. The bottoms of the saucepans call TransTherm® universal base and as the name suggests can be used on all types of stoves. We have a conventional ceramic hob. Here it can be said the pots come up to temperature quickly and keeping them for some time after switching off the stove. This you can take advantage and even turn off a few minutes before the food actually would do, the heat and let the pots on the hot stove finish cooking without further energizing the food. This actually works quite well, but is not a big secret or innovation that went with our previous Topfset also.
As written in the other reviews, the pots are not the time-honored "Made in Germany" quality that we associate with the name of WMF. But here the consumers are also a little your own fault. Again everything should be cheap cheap, which is forcing manufacturers to have to produce in China or other low-wage countries. The produced in Germany WMF pots are, of course, on the quality of a lot better, but that costs just correspondingly more.
We bought this pot set still, in the knowledge that there is certainly some years of good service to us. Should not eventually be the case we buy new pots. This keeps the economy going and maybe there in 10 years, breakthroughs in the field. And then a new cookware set would be due anyway.
We like the pot. It burns not alter the fact, unless you sleep with cooking on the sofa ;-) The pots look chic and are easy to clean. They tolerate well the dishwasher. The glass lid allows a view of the food during the cooking process and they are also good fit.
The price was just bundled with the Saute, very tempting. Although we are not chefs, but we often and good cooking. The pots line with our expectations.
