My door is approximately 4 cm thick, which forced me to another improvisation (was described: to 5 cm). To ensure that the lock body in which the cylinder lock is embedded flush to the outside of the door to the fitting, I had the reinforced bolt approximately 1 cm inward push back. Conclusion: As with many products, the product description by the manufacturer is insufficient and very improved. I can recommend this product therefore only patient and skillful men and women!
