As a newcomer in Geocaching I've decided for the Garmin Oregon 300. Operation via the touch screen is very easy and even funktionniert with gloves. The display is easy to read in direct sunlight (height backlight). Then at dusk, it lacks a bit of contrast. The memory expansion through a microSD card is a plus. The supplied card is unfortunately almost no help at use in Europe. The autonomy on, so I'm very satisfied so far. 10 hours are there already in it. The Oregon still has a ton of additional features, but which are rather uninteresting for geocachers. The display of additional information concerning caches falls reading easy. Compatibility with MAC is not a problem. The data transfer funktionniert quickly and without problems. Unfortunately, the names of the images are not displayed in the "Playback Mode". All in all: for geocachers can only be recommended.
