Now for the food:
My dog eats it just as greedy as any other food also. But that is in the nature of things. He is a "good eater" and eats everything I set it before him. Therefore this is not a reason for me, the food is to be good. He does not get diarrhea, the stool is formed and not too rich. After a week he also shows no skin changes or other effects. He seems to feel the food quite well.
There are safe 3 stars.
But now to my points of criticism:
-The Food contains 20% chicken. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not specify this, what ingredients are meant chicken. Muscle meat? Bone meal? Half a chicken with Zipp and Zapp?
- The individual kibble are about the size of a thumbnail and are pressed very flat. This stimulates larger dogs to the slings and less chewing.
-The Protein content is suitable with 26% relatively high and thus more suitable for very active dogs. For seniors or cozier races I would have recourse to a little less protein food
-wheat (Cereals) is not well tolerated by many dogs and a cheaper filler, many manufacturers are now about to offer grain-free food
-contains artificial vitamins - as well as in the diet for people whose effect is controversial. Natural sources (fruits, vegetables) are also preferred for the dog
MY CONCLUSION:
If you want to feed them dry food, gets here safely a decent feed, which at first glance does not present any problems (at least with my dog), tasty and easy to digest. Because of the chunk size but more suitable for smaller dogs and due to the protein content of more active dogs.
I personally will continue but with a cold-formed food without additives and without grain and a high proportion of lean meat (the meat content) and also with fruits, vegetables and a fresh piece of meat, fish or an egg spoil my dog.
