In brief: It is invariably to dry red wines, which I would judge the Mavus even as the three most fruity wines. All are good accompaniment to food, but also taste just as in the evening watching TV (especially a good chocolate). The drier wines (the Passimiento and the Terre del Sasso) piebald very velvety and very drinkable.
The price-performance ratio is absolutely in order. For an average of 10 per bottle I drank already better but even far worse wines.
Only 2 comments on other reviews:
One reviewer has withdrawn because the wines, the wines contain sulfites 2 stars. In almost every wine bottle in the meantime is the statement "Contains Sulfites". The sulfites stir essentially the so-called Sulphur of wines. This increases durability and prevents the formation of mold and bacteria and their toxic wastes before.
The Sulphur was allegedly practiced by the ancient Greeks and is - also allows for organic wines - to a lesser extent. The Schefeln says so nothing posible the quality of wine from.
Another reviewer has the closure with cork highlighted because screw caps do not go. This too is a very subjective opinion. The trouble is that this misconception is still widely used. Wine with screw tastes just as good (or bad) as wine with cork stopper. The tale of that can breathe a wine with corks better is equally widespread. It is harmful if the wine further air is supplied. In addition, wine can not cork with a screw cap. What unfortunately is becoming more common because of high quality cork is becoming increasingly rare. Besides stylistic elements so nothing speaks for the cork. There are also alternatives to the screw. The glass stopper is stylistically very nice. There is also the Kunsstoffkorken. In a wine seminar you once told me that this actually is the worst of all variants.
This is it now but have been with the digression.
CONCLUSION: Ordinary wines at a fair price. The full 5 points I give not because I have to leave firstly in evaluating wine room for improvement and because I lack a bit of variety in the wine package.
