The phone with this cable has detected no problems and automatically many USB drives (including some very recent Flash 64GB USB 3). All wire mouse are detected, and the filiaires keyboards run natively. I had difficulty operating my wireless keyboard but Linux drivers for Android recompiled exist on the canvas. Make sure your kit Mouse Wireless Keyboard is compatible somehow by searching the Internet.
The filiaires joysticks are recognized natively (tested with USB Controller Freebox V6, PS2 controller with USB converter and Kronig Microsoft Sidewinder). You simply map the keys so that they operate, including analog sticks and buttons.
External USB hard drives are recognized, provided they are mains powered. None of my hard drives are powered via USB (thus no source sector) worked. Too bad!
There are lots of devices supported natively (without drivers) as some Samsung printers, and some on the canvas seems to have managed to print documents directly to USB successfully. My two HP printers (laser and ink jet) were recognized but the impression did not. However, Android compiled drivers are available on the web. Check that your printers have these drivers otherwise they will not work.
I plugged my Canon 100D SLR camera, and it was recognized natively. I was able to browse photos already taken and use applications dedicated to control these devices. It is also possible to connect a separate telephone to telephone. The phone then slave reveals its files and it is quite possible to exchange files between USB natively two phones even larger.
The use of USB HUB is possible provided that the latter is powered by mains or if this is not the case, there is little devices are connected.
The only complaint I can make it is that this cable does not have a micro USB output to eg recharge while using a USB device on the smartphone, or else to use a MHL adapter (Micro USB to HDMI) for that matter plug in a device. To be used whereas if the smartphone is loaded because the use of a USB device not consume a lot of battery if it is not self-powered.
The cable is quite short and light. This one seems solid to me. I recommend.
