After a long time with soluble coffee, occasional activate the old coffee we decided to purchase a fully automatic machine. Intensive research followed, finally, the DeLonghi ECAM 23420SB remained. The main reasons for this: current model, itself manufactured in-house, extremely compact, mainly good reviews of the sister models and in various forums - and it is still priced interesting (but not purchased from Amazon as exceptionally much more expensive than elsewhere ...). Taken after machine delivery was lying enclosed instructions, supplied filter used, bought a rather arbitrarily chosen Coffee Crema Super Parks and tested. Tastes ... Noises during brewing are surprisingly restrained. Operation is simple. The display shows the information on adequate. Us the machine is really compact, which is exactly as expected! Great! Of course I can not comment on a comparative - is just the "first". What I do not like: The "zapfbare" coffee quantity is rather small - 160-180 ml maximum. Need to fill our beautiful, large cups, the program "2 very large cups" run - of course, for each ... The first "Cappucino" attempts - with foamed milk - were not so hot. I do not have the impression that the amount of steam is not enough - need to practice a little probably. This is not a ko criterion. In sum, I am very, very satisfied and hope that accompanies us the machine for a long time.

After about 6 months use I would want to increase the assessment of 5 stars. A good buy, the machine is reliable, dirty hardly inside. Small drawback is that you can not pre-screen bean and water tank for sufficient volume. Do you have to halt itself. Does not always ;-( but more often. Final - great, compact and reliable little machine ...
