I have learned that there is a software update that fixes the problem precisely and behold recently:
It works! Reliable and above all comfortable!
The connection to the printer is only made if you want to print. It shows the driver and makes the connection to the printer, Windows does "Plöng" than when you plug in the USB cable. Now the printer for other users is disabled, but is enabled again 30 seconds after the printing of inactivity. Then the next person can print. No one has to change what - once installed, everything runs comfortably in the background.
You have probably used to it, that the printer driver first the printer as "offline" bemägelt, but at least my Canon ink dauber run shortly thereafter to easily.
Now such a thing is even ordered, we have more printers in other rooms available that are on the net.
Also nice: You can connect a 4-port USB hub, then you can use up to four printers. And through the USB remote unit are also multifunction devices with scanners and fax use to.
This little thing makes after the update exactly what I want -'m super happy with it!
