Meanwhile, I am sorry to say that it has remained at a nice try and approach! One thing first: The album is not bad, but I try hereinafter only in more detail to explain why it was not fully convinced me.
Even if only the name of the album clearly indicating Soul, me personally, the proportion is still too high, or in other words: The rap share too low. Now I do not defend myself against Soul and am also not immune to other, less common genres, here I feel the implementation of this, however, unfortunately not to be as successful. The issues are too one-sided and therefore in the long run but tiring. Praises of women - well and good, but not a whole album of them. The too frequent use of autotune, I received as cruel even with other artists of all musical genres, that bothers me here. Quite a few songs would sound much better when waiver of Autotune in my ears. There is little songs that I allude deliberately or I really want to hear at certain intervals. There is little earwigs or songs that captivate me. To listen perfectly fine, but the iPod is not enough just yet!
So I hoped that Manuellsen with the album strikes a trend that was already exemplified in Europe by 'Plan B' or 'Sexion D'Assaut'. This was unfortunately out. Overall, a useful album but remained far short of my expectations. Pity!
