I use it primarily as
- Central data storage
- For playing movies
- For playing music, what do I control via UPnP DLNA on my laptop / cell phone
Other features like 3D, IPTV, Android and what else is this I do not use and I will also not vote
Positive I noticed
- Beautiful design with front display
- Simple installation of a 3.5 SATA HDD
- Plays nearly every video / audio file in FullHD
- Digital outputs (HDMI, optical, coaxial)
- Good (though not outstanding) Netzwerkgeschwindkeit thanks Gigabit Ethernet
- Access to the hard drive via USB 3.0
Negative I noticed
- The unit receives signals from the remote control only meet when sighting directly. So not like you're used it on TV, but you have more like pointing a gun directly to the device. This is the case both with the supplied remote and with a Logitech Harmony. Therefore located on the device itself and is already annoying.
- The firmware on the device I would classify as a maximum beta. I had several crashes especially in the remote control via UPnP Control Point. Also total does not affect all the software as a unified whole. In my opinion, you have a lot of potential here presented in shaping the surface. On a positive note, that the firmware is still being developed and I'll revise my opinion possibly even
- The fan is too loud for my taste. I now have a Tiger Axial mini-ball bearing fan 12V DC (25x25x10mm) 8.500rpm ordered me talk more about the standard fan. If necessary, I will adjust the supply voltage a little down. Positive here is that the fan is at least as fitted that you can replace him
Total outweigh the positive aspects, which is why I'll (also a lack of alternatives) keep the device for me.
