This product is not helpful. Firstly, the cable (with about 30cm) is relatively short, but can get over under certain circumstances. Secondly, and this is the crucial point, the hub is continuously overloaded, which means that power supply interruptions occur, and this all the time. This this Hub was unusable, at least for my purposes. It must be said that I the Assmann for USB devices that have a high power consumption, used (keyboard, mouse, external hard disks, headset). So it may well be possible that the hub is running when the USB device used draw little power.
