- Man has both hands free and the LL does not have to keep all the time, which saves a lot of power on longer hikes.
- You can see the LL quickly stow times when you should not need times.
The advantage over the pouch, in my opinion is that one does not again have to dig out from the (narrow) pocket the LL with each use. Wenns just got to be quick and simple, is the clip much smaller and mainly handy.
Now the clip: The clip is made of high quality plastic. In fact, it can be rotated 360 °. However, this is the first time a small feat. For me a little hats lasted until I came up with the idea, just once with brute force to rotate the clip and behold: It locks after one rotation of approximately 40 ° again.
At first you think: Does the going so heavy? But at the latest when sprinting to the LL to the belt through the forest, you realize: The remains in the position as it should be.
The rotating mechanism engages approximately every 40 °, which means that you can adjust the LL horizontal to the ground, without having "slipped" by itself down again.
The clip, in which the LL is purely "clipped" is, as difficult, which is a good thing! Finally, I do not want so that the LL simply slips when walked in the vertical position of the clip. On the one hand is indeed the lamp head, but on the other is no thickening of the LL-handle.
In principle, the clip from the P 14 makes a kind of end Lame ... but just the belt.
The clip is quite usable for Outdorr and off-road use. He holds the LL under control, so that even with jumps and hops anything can happen.
Who does not want that to keep LL constantly in hand, is well advised here. The only alternative is just a headlamp.
My recommendation it has anyway.
Hoff I could take one or other doubts the.
Best regards!
