As part of a large Philips test action I could test the Phillips Lumea SC1996 Essential and want to write about my experiences. I wanted to buy me some time to Phillips Lumea, but I found the price etws dissuasive, since I was not sure if the device would keep its promises. The advantage of Philips is that you have to buy more cartridges not flash. This means there is no follow-up costs. The unit has a very elegant design and comes in a very chic packaging, accessory heard the unit, 2 essays, a storage bag, cleaning cloth, power cord, user manual, quick reference guide (on the back is a skin type table.) Now the real deal begins the unit is set at a 90 degree angle to the skin, so that it has full contact with the skin. the device automatically analyzed to the skin tone and the standby indicator will light up. When the indicator lights up on the back of the device knows it must continue, it should light up orange, the treatment according to skin tone is not suitable, and the device is disabled. Option 2: Slide & Flash mode for faster treatment: The flash button is held down while passing the device over the skin, after each pulse flash, it takes about 3.5 seconds to the unit is again ready for use. During this charging period, the ready light blinks, complete when the device has contact with the skin. I prefer the Slide & Flash mode. And how it affects now? The device heats the hair and the hair roots under the skin and stimulates the hair to thus go into the resting phase. My experience with the device, I test the device now about 2 months and have to say I am very pleasantly surprised by the performance. I first tested the device on the legs and later under his armpits. Before I used the machine, I was a little afraid that it might hurt. But I can take any fear, it is only a little warm, but what I have not perceived as unpleasant. On the legs, I could really look like the hair was always less and already after the first treatment, although I have still a few hairs on the legs, but there are only a few.
