Power consumption (Heitronic PowerMeter):
Off and On / Auto: 0.0 watt!
1 sheet: 104 Watt
2 sheets: 111 Watt
3 sheets: 124 Watt
5 sheets: 168 Watt
At 5 copy sheets (80g / sqm), the device struggles to get on very and except for the test I'll do without it, it could shorten the life of the engine and mechanics.
The container is sufficiently large and easy for my household to separate from the stable head. The size is just right in order to empty it in a garbage bag. Front there's a bulge, with which you can access the container tightly with one hand and by the degree of filling can be seen.
At the top is located below a movable guide flap which ensures that the pieces end up in the tank and not spill out front. Something dust they should also bring. When removing the head part, these (perforated) plastic cover sets completely on the bottom slot and prevents so effective that still can fall out single hanging on the grinder shreds.
Someone has thought in the development ;-)
A clicking safety switch which is well protected embedded in the head, the head portion when removing switches from audible.
The automatic sheet detection to work properly, starts immediately and runs the small snippets for 2 seconds.
The 95cm power cord could set a few cm, but I do not want to complain about really.
I think, for domestic use, the device is perfect and my PowerMeter should not lie to me, it is even turned on with my green conscience to agree.
Processing looks very stable, the container is made of hard plastic to not to complicate cracking.
Am satisfied!
Addendum after about 6 months of occasional use:
The plastic nipples, which recognizes imported paper and thus takes the mechanics in operation may no longer work with his switch.
Means that the machine will always rotates when you turn on the power switch.
But as I had the device also previously been turned off when not in use on the slide switch, bothers me not to try and ensure the guarantee is not worth it.
Hopefully be other more important components of the device is not even on!
