In my opinion, it does not quite succeed. No question, also "House of Gold & Bones Part 2" is a strong album, but it does not reach the unity that transported the first part. There you had with "Gone Sovereign" and "Absolute Zero" a bombastic duo directly to the start, rather quiet "Red City" can not keep up. In general, I am surprised that Part 2 less hard parts than Part 1, where Corey but ahead of them spoke that Part 2 would the harder part of the double album.
Nevertheless, overall, it completes the story around the "House of Gold & Bones" well off, is at a solid level, and comes across well live safely. That you could not hold the very high level of the first part, I find not so bad. As long anyway rumkommt a good album here, there is little to complain about.
