I needed a spare DVD player for the bedroom, to the evening time to watch a movie or just listening to music or audio books / games.

Unfortunately, I can not do that with this device! The drive rattles partially so enormously loud that quiet places are inedible in the film and classical music completely goes down. With audio books you do not understand some of the spoken text. And this is also not sleep in it.

Even if he hums sometimes quiet, the sound is still too loud and disturbing.

In addition, the USB reader does not recognize my USB flash drives. Since the movie files but now are all larger than 4 GB, formatting the FAT system is absurd. NTFS, however, he does not seem to recognize.
