The patch panel is used to create installation cables, which most strongly from the periphery - as well as better shielded (eg CAT 7e)! Each occupied output is connected by means of a (short) patch cable to a switch. If you have connected in this way, for example, routers and several network sockets, the network which simplifies cabling concerns already finished! Note, however, that you need to create special LSA tool and secure the patience and unravel the individual wires have to bring! The patch panel is very massively built (metal); something small little screw fixing the housing cover, which does not detract from the stability, but the finger overused (but only once). I would not see it as a desktop patch panel, as it usually on a wall and often still in the basement will be used. Quality = 1A and also small price! I've already installed several of these patch panel with acquaintances and so far everyone is very satisfied!
