I like to take on at concerts and festivals Videos individual songs and then put this one on Youtube. I am not so ambitious videographers and I want to avoid it, follow up with the video. I had very good experiences with the built-in mics my Olympus E-P1 been made, which are oriented head-on and can also handle high sound pressure quite easily. Unfortunately, Olympus has these microphones no longer installed with the newer PENs, so an upgrade requires an external Micro. I have long searched for a suitable solution here. Small it should be aligned frontal, it must be able to handle high sound pressure, but also provide an appropriate quality. When I saw the microphone, I had long wondered whether it is the relatively large number of monetary value.
Now I have used it over the weekend at a festival with my Olympus E-PM1 and am really convinced of this upgrade. The microphone harmonizes well with the microphone adapter EMA-1 and small groups. Together with the compact .45-fixed focal length can thus really nice movies and also has a more than ordinary clay here. Helpful here is the enclosed windscreen fur.
