My Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E130 with a display of 29.5 cm (11.6 ") and the dimensions (W x H x D) 287 x 23 x 212 mm to be safely stowed during transport in a pocket. The only thing that could be improved, under the zipper a further laminate would (similar to Jackets under the zipper) to protect the contents, so you can not touch the netbook when closing the zipper.
