I had gained some minor Lechuza pots for houseplants me some time ago, since I work outside during the week and my husband came into the Gießstreik, but I think plants would not give up. After some time, the growth (already abundant 4-6 weeks) the whole thing is just perfect. I pour every two to three weeks and everything overgrown downright. So I also for the balcony (south-facing balcony, full sun all day) acquired such vessels (not just the here discussed, even larger). After last season I can only confirm that this was an absolutely worthwhile investment. Instead of daily 8-10 full watering cans á 10l to drag on the balcony, we have biweekly extensively cast (so to speak enclosing the water reservoir full) and then taken care of nothing. Even in the hottest weeks was enough water once a week. And three weeks vacation was not a problem. I suspect that not only the water tank, but also the specific granules are responsible. There are also other manufacturers planter with water reservoirs (I've also in operation and therefore direct comparison), who but me not so convinced. The price of Lechuza-tubs and the granules are indeed violent, but when I look back on the last year, so we will certainly save many liters of water and above all time won to enjoy a lush balcony.
Addendum to the Super Summer 2013 - with us there has been this summer for weeks almost no rain. The plants in the normal boxes were for a short visit for the weekend out. In Lechuza Box everything top. Become even approached by people how I can do it, the rampant my flowers so.
A minus point alledings as an addendum -'ve still got more boxes hanging on the balcony (Balconera series) and realized that now the build quality has unfortunately declined.
