Now recently I own a Samsung S4, which is indeed (ie including for research and calculations when geocaching) suitable super for my purposes, but much too expensive to enter into an unnecessary risk. This is why I was looking for a case that fits on such conditions (makes mE in this case more sense than an insurance policy).
The Otterbox I have found just that. The processing makes a very solid impression, the fit is perfect. So perfect that I would rather re-used in the box my original battery cover because my normally mounted lid due to a (synthetic) leather garnish applying a little thicker, and therefore charged the click locks the box over charge (in principle but it would still fit). The whole thing is handled properly robust, and makes perfect the impression, to be prepared for tougher outdoor use. Above all, it is much stickier (outside a real bonus).
What I really like in comparison with competing products, the additional protective film on the display, which is integrated into the housing. That was for me one of the most important points, because here dirt is better organized. I am using the way on the S4 already a protective film (of Mumbi), that is, the operation is done in the Otterbox ultimately by two slides through. But neither the visibility nor the operation need to restrict appreciably. Perfect! Is certainly also the fact that the protective film of the Otterbox perfect "hugs". And sending you is probably because that the S4 from behind is fixed by a thin layer of flexible foam in the box, and therefore almost a bit is pushed "upwards". All well thought out in all.
The only thing given me a little concern, the click fasteners of the box are: I lay down my S4 not permanently in the Otterbox, but use this only when it is "on the road" (otherwise I would be too bulky). Does this mean that I will be opening and closing the box more often. I just hope that this does not break at some point the recordings for the small tabs for clipping. These qualities are carried out with the little material (ie as small "bridges"), and therefore do not make too strong impression. Here'll have to show how strong resistance is the plastic used. In any case, it is a bit fummlig to extricate the smartphone from Otterbox. But otherwise it is not likely to, because otherwise the fit would not be perfect again.
