For one who does not extreme sport but the sport simply this harness is a price / quality ratio unmatched. Elastic and ties are the same in the Official GoPro model. The difference lies in the central plate is made of hard plastic and not metal like the GoPro model. In case of use in extreme conditions will be more fragile but for normal use, given the quality of the plastic is plenty strong.
