The glass scale of Sanitas is visually quite appealing. But it's probably mainly to the function. And which is sufficient for normal use. The weighing results shall be sufficiently accurate. For several consecutive weighings performed, I have found a deviation of plus / minus 300 g. This is unacceptable. Of course there are people who want more accurate results for medical reasons. This group of people should spend even more money and also test multiple scales. Of course, the scale must be placed on a firm, level ground, never on carpeting. The weighing results I compared with my old mechanical scales from Soehnle - hardly any differences. You should put some ready coin cell CR 2032 though, not to get very cheap at Amazon. I highly recommend this scale.
