The stone serves its purpose to the fullest extent - the pizza tastes really worlds better than the plate. Just be aware, of course, the dough to prove too much and einzumehlen the bucket very well - then it works perfectly in the oven.
The thickness is exactly right for me compromise between heating time (30-40 min) and heat storage (loose enough for 2-3 pizzas, with jew. 5 minutes break in between).
