Perfect result difficulties accessing; superfluous for careful user

I have so far had several smartphones for many years in use. Only my XDA Orbit had been a screen protector. However, this had the edge unsightly fraying by air pockets. Therefore, I have dispensed with my Samsung Galaxy S on a corresponding film. After two years of continuous operation, the display of the Galaxy S still looked like new.

For the Galaxy Note I bought the Mumbi screen protectors and Mumbi TPU Cases. The protective sleeve is perfect because the Galaxy Note is so much grip.

The attachment of the protective film requires a lot of patience and calm. None of my 6 attempts a perfect result was achieved. I kept strictly to the instructions and could reach not once that the screen protector was behind unrecognizable anyway. The film draws upon peeling the protective layer immediately everything to dust, which is to get in the room so. I tried it after all in almost dust-free bathroom. Result was here that dust inclusions were no longer available. However, we saw at the edges partially smallest fraying, which could not get rid. Due to the huge display length should be careful when preparing necessarily mean that this is happening meticulously. Otherwise, the film is on the other side very easy times 0,5 - 1,0 mm at the edge on. As already mentioned in other reviews, the fraying by Mumbi TPU are covered sleeve. However, since I use the Galaxy Note as Navi, I have to remove the TPU Cases on road trips to get the Galaxy Note in the car cradle. There, the fraying a laugh again.

The Galaxy Note is visually very classy. That is the impression I will not diminish by a screen protector. Anyone who as I separated from Smartphone kept his keys and at least provides some will do without this film. The display itself is already very scratch resistant. The film would be most important for users who actually handle the smartphone rather neglected. For resale in 1-2 years it will be priced to make no difference whether a screen protector was used or if the unit has been treated with care.
