the Meguiars Carpet & Interior Cleaner I bought because I had a 3 1/2 year old used cars bought with bright interiors and beige velor floor mats. After 3 winters the doormats saw something taken from. Many small dark spots and a total of a little dingy. Since the original floor mats are not cheap, I wanted to first take a cleaning attempt that was successful:
1. Processing
The processing is very easy. Simply spray a large area rug or floor mats With the cleaner directly on the doormat, leave for at least 30sec and then with a clean terry cloth towel to rub dirt more on the towel is transmitted. No water required. The towel from time to time so turning that you continue to rub with a clean page. Sometimes have the cleaner additionally rubbed with a damp microfiber cloth into the fabric, but would probably have been not absolutely necessary.
2. cleaning performance
To make it short: The result was outstanding even after a short time and a single application. Could not at all believe how quickly and easily the dirt fog and the spots disappeared. The intense dark spots you had to rub a little longer, but also went out quickly. Without brush without water, just with a wet film of cleaner on the cloth. Even the smell of the product is not objectionable.
3. Conclusion
At least for all "conventional" pollutants of the foot area in the interior is the Meguiars Carpet & Interior Cleaner very suitable. However, one can not get very far with a bottle. Took me for 2 large and 2 small mats half a bottle (1 bottle = 473ml). For a complete foot space with mats so you should at least 1 bottle of schedule, and it could be even just then, though the trunk is to be made.
