This tripod is great value, it's a full sized tripod Essentially with shorter arms. I was a little worried about putting INITIALLY my SLR on it when i bought it, and I was just going to use it for my smaller 'point-and-shoot' during timelapses, but when i got it and saw how stable it which, I had no fears any more. Best tabletop tripod I've seen, I would not trust any of the others with my SLR.
