I use the dock with my Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus via USB 3.0. Previously I had always laptops with "native" Dockinstation and was therefore a little skeptical at USB docking.
This part works but perfectly. Minimal increased CPU usage, but so low that the fan is not more often than usual starts.
- The driver installation was fully automatically with Windows 8.1.
- On / undocking no problem
- Noticed no stuttering mouse
- Videos run smoothly.

So very pleased so far.
