Although the album sounds quality than any previous works Sargeists, remember the melodic and melancholic riffs, varied drumming and the high and harsh screams of a typical Sargeist album that has nothing to lose Trveness. At this point I would like to mention that throughout the four (!) Guitar hears, providing a tremendous atmosphere.
Anspieltipps would the opener EMPIRE OF SUFFERING, who I think is the best song of the album, a masterpiece of Black Metal, very nice guitars, alternate parts with blast beats and midtempo. Follow it, I think, the very varied and guitar-driven song A SPELL TO AWAKEN THE TEMPLE and also ingenious song DISCOVERING THE EYE enshrouded.
The cover is beautifully designed, not black and white, still very dark and therefore suitable. The grim Lord it is seemingly Shatraug with a crucifix, the whole is provided with a slight reddish tinge. On the back you can see also Shatraug before two candles and an altar o. Ä., And the tracklist listed in I to X. The CD is printed with a calyx, behind one can see another image Shatraugs. In the booklet, the lyrics are abgeduckt, even very readable, which is considered more as a rare stop when properly BM. The whole is delivered in a jewel case, even if a Dikipak would probably chic ...
I would give this album 5 stars because it's just a perfectly balanced album full Trveness, atmosphere, pace, brutality and beautiful melodies. No wonder that when the array of beautiful, melancholy, almost romantic melodies often referred to as Sargeist Depressive Black Metal.
Strong buy recommendation for really every BM fan.
